Do I Need a Lawyer to Incorporate?

Legally, a lawyer is not required for the incorporation process for starting a business. Of course, having a professional who has been through the incorporating process for businesses will definitely help because of his or her experience and hindsight on any mistakes people have made in the past. If you prefer not to have a lawyer do the incorporation, you can either do it yourself by obtaining forms from the government or using a incorporation service company that usually charges half the price of a lawyer.
